Now that the Green Movement is really picking up people are trying to make every environment they are in eco-friendly. And that now includes the workplace. MSN has a great article today about how you can go green in your office (check it out here).
Ideas include everything from using solar energy to using worms in compost to switching to refillable ink carridges. It also includes a push in the working world to allow more employees to work from home, thus cutting back on pollution released from vehicles. While working from home won't work for a restaurant you can encourage employees to carpool, walk, or use public transportation to help the environment.
Another way to help the environment is to start using Energy Efficient appliances. Serv-U has a nice selection of appliances that all pass the Energy Star test and display the Energy Star logo. Your Serv-U representative can help you find the perfect Energy Star products for your business, so give them a call today.
